Blue Light glasses, orange lenses

We created four separate pairs of glasses with different types of light filtering with one idea: to let you choose the right glasses depending on the time of day and the usage scenario.

Glasses with clear lensesare suitable for everyday computer work, video calls and watching content. They partially reduce the transmission of the violet-blue part of the spectrum while not changing the color rendering of the screen. This is the best option for long use during the day.

Glasses with yellow lensescreate a warmer image and reduce the transmission of violet and part of the blue spectrum more strongly. They are suitable for evening work and work under artificial lighting without changing the image on the screen too much.

An excess of the light spectrum in the evening can suppress melatonin production, keep you alert and make it harder to fall asleep.

Glasses with orange lenseshave a more pronounced warm tint and reduce the transmission of blue and part of the blue-green spectrum more intensely. We recommend them for long gaming sessions and evening monitor work, when you need to limit the effect of cold light more strongly.

Red lensesare intended mainly for evening use and before bed. Reducing the amount of bright short-wavelength light helps create a more comfortable light environment for evening rest.

We did not create yet another pair of glasses with a single "universal" lens. Each pair is designed for a specific time of day and level of light filtering: from almost natural color rendering during the day to the warmest image in the evening.

With care,

the Selerity team
